About GhostPrompt

Built on a simple conviction.

The only data governance strategy that cannot fail is one where sensitive data never leaves your device in the first place.

I'm a product leader with over 20 years of experience shipping software across enterprise SaaS, gaming, public safety infrastructure, consumer cloud, and public sector technology. I currently lead Digital Business Products and Services at the House of Commons of Canada. Before that, I led product at Electronic Arts (global social platform across 500M+ players), SurveyMonkey (billing, payments, and API platform), Comtech Telecommunications (mission-critical 911 and public safety), Espial (acquired by Enghouse), Kwilt (acquired by Western Digital), and earlier roles in AAA and mobile gaming. 60+ shipped products across B2C, B2B, B2B2C, and B2G markets.

At Comtech, I stood up a 0-to-1 cybersecurity managed service program and helped build a virtual CISO office and vulnerability management program for mission-critical 911 infrastructure. That experience, alongside work at SurveyMonkey on payments security and at EA on player safety, trust, and toxicity detection, is what I'm bringing to GhostPrompt.

I built GhostPrompt because I have spent 20 years watching the same dynamic play out every time a powerful new tool arrives in the workplace. Good people running ahead of their organization's policy, using the fastest tool available because the work does not stop while the governance catches up. It happened with cloud migration. It happened with BYOD. It happened with collaboration platforms. Every wave, the same shape.

When ChatGPT arrived in late 2022 and the generative AI wave came with it, I recognized the pattern immediately. And at every organization I have been inside since, gaming studios, public-company SaaS platforms, mission-critical public safety infrastructure, broadcast media, consumer cloud, and now federal government technology, the exact same thing has happened. People pasting client documents, legal drafts, financial models, meeting transcripts into AI tools because the tools were useful and the work did not stop while the policy committees formed. Nobody being reckless. Just good people with no safe path forward.

They needed a tool that worked before the data left their machine, without asking permission from IT, without filing a procurement request, without waiting for a policy committee to land. That tool did not exist. So I built it.

GhostPrompt is built and operated by me in a personal capacity under a separate entity. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of my current or former employers.

Why we built this
The gap that needed filling.

Enterprise DLP tools cost tens of thousands of dollars and take months to deploy. Manual redaction fails under time pressure. Browser extensions require IT approval and create their own security risks. There was no tool for the individual professional who uses AI daily and needs protection that works without asking permission from IT.

The pattern was consistent across both private and public sector organizations. Those that moved too cautiously fell behind and watched competitors pull ahead. Those that moved fast without guardrails saw unintentional data breaches, leaked information, and the reputational fallout that follows. Neither outcome was acceptable. GhostPrompt exists because there was no tool designed to help organizations move at the pace of innovation, safely, securely, and with full control over their own data.

GhostPrompt fills that gap. Local, immediate, zero-configuration, and compatible with every AI tool that exists or will exist. The major AI providers will never build this themselves. Their business model depends on receiving your data. GhostPrompt's value is structurally opposite to theirs, and that structural opposition is the only durable competitive position in this space.

1
Structurally private
Privacy through architecture, not promises. We cannot see your documents because we built no infrastructure to receive them.
2
Honest about limits
GhostPrompt reduces risk significantly. It does not eliminate it entirely. We say that clearly so you use it correctly.
3
Individual-first
Designed for the professional who cannot wait for IT. Works without accounts, without cloud, without approval.
